The MS Dockville is about to reach the marina – for the 11th time. The festival located in the centre of the it-district Wilhemsburg in Hamburg has recovered from a massive birthday bash hangover after last years party weekend and is now ready for a new party with some innovations.
About 60.000 visitors from all around the world are travelling to the iconic music and art festival in Hamburg’s it-district Wilhelmsburg. Breathe in the nice marine air and enjoy a festival at the waterfront, right behind the dyke. Watch artists presenting their latest art installations, enjoy chilled beats and become part of the creative process. Performances, Poetry Slam and the area, designs by artist, form the unique interactive and interdisciplinary character of the festival.
MS Dockville Festival Camping
The line up shows that the MS Dockville doesn’t care much about genres and intends to combine and exchanges arts. The organizers want to find a perfect mix of them and make the visitors explore their own creativity. In order to keep the spirit, many of the 60.000 visitors decide on staying on the festival ground over night. About 9.000 campers escape reality for a couple of days and spend the night in the MS Dockville’s dream world.

The festival takes place from 18th August to 20th August 2017.
Festival Area MS Dockville
The MS Dockville is located in Hamburg’s district Wilhelmsburg at the Reiherstieg. The festival took place for the first time in 2007, 10 years ago. In 2017 it’ll be for the 11th time that the organizers celebrate creativity with their visitors. Most parts of the festival are located behind the main dyke of the Reiherstieg, so the area itself is protected against flooding.

There will be shuttle services from the S-station “Veddel” to the festival area. Everybody who arrives by car is advised to park in front of the station “Veddel”. A limited number of parking spots are available for the whole weekend and charged with only 5 EUR.
The shuttle busses are frequently bringing you to the festival area and back to the station:
Thursday until 1:00 am
Friday from 09:00 am – 07:00 am (next morning)
Saturday from 10:00 am – 07:00 am
Sunday from 10:00 am – 03:00 am
Monday from 07:00 am – 3:00 pm
