Dive into the good Wurzelwelt
The Wurzel festival is a fully accessible join in festival. Fans of electronic music will love it: Psy Trance/Progressive, Techno, Deep House, but also 70s Disco Trash or Reggae is part of it. Nevertheless, VIP-areas or well-known DJs cannot be found at this festival
Partying on equal terms
Instead of star DJs, the festival has its focus on non-commercial sustainability, equality, inclusion – all in all a Party on the same level. Young acts have the chance to perform in front of the great and steady growing Wurzel-community in a magical surrounding on beautifully decorated stages. The Wurzel festival has turned from a free of charge Open Air in Berlin into a place of pilgrimage for more than 3.000 Wurzel-children, celebrating its 5th birthday this year.
If you‘re exhausted from dancing the night away, simply go to one of the more than 40 workshops and start the new day with one of them. The Street Food stands will help you to recover, too.
Mobile sleeping units at the “Zurück zu den Wurzeln“ Festival
Festival-visitors, who are not keen to crawl into a tiny tent after a night of dancing and partying, have the chance to book one of our foldable pop-up hotel-like rooms/mobile sleeping units; our Festival-Lodges. Get comfy on a real bed; avoid bruises from stumbling over tent ropes or freezing your ass off in a porous tent on the camping ground. Of course you can also book a real hotel room, somewhere and miss out on everything happening at the festival. It’s totally up to you.
Did you know, that...
...... the Zurück zu den Wurzeln Festival is the first fully accessible music festival in Germany? Everything from the shuttle service to the dance floor is perfectly accessible for people with a handicap. Beside a wheelchair accessible infrastructure as well as amenities, places to sleep and ways to the dance floors, staff members will help you find your way through the festival area in case you need them.

In 2017 the Wurzel festival was a real hit – without drugs & alcohol, as the organisers emphasise. The weather god must have been in a very good mood, last year and the After Hour on the camping ground lasted till sunrise. Everyone, who’s missed it –check out the picture gallery on Facebook.

The festival takes place from the 7th June till 10th June 2018. The area will open its gates at 12 pm on Thursday and closes again at 12 pm that on Monday.

Shuttle-Service
For all visitors, who plan on getting to the festival by train, there will be shuttle services taking them from the station Jüterbog to the festival ground. You can also grab a cab. Everyone arriving at the station „Altes Lager“, take your boots with you as there will be a 3 km march waiting for you. The shuttle busses are wheelchair accessible.

The camping ground opens on Thursday, 12 pm and closes again the following Monday at 12 pm. An additional camping ticket is included if you book one of our Festival-Lodges. Our mobile overnight-stay units are located on the camping ground.
Line Up Zurück zu den Wurzeln Festival 2018
From the cave in a fabulous wood to the famous Studio 54: The 8 floors of the festival will be the stage for great names. Make your feet lose ground while dancing to Psy Trance/Progressive, Forest, Techno, Deep House, 70er Disco Trash, Live-Bands, Reggae and Ambient. Tickets for the whole festival are available from 120.00 EUR on. For everyone having the letter “B“ in their Handicap ID, tickets are already available from 40.00 EUR. Please go to the Ticket shop for further information. If you would like to spend the night in one of our cosy Lodges, the prices are 89.75 EUR/night (also 44.88 EUR/person/night) or for all 4 nights 359.00 EUR excl. taxes and 7% VAT.
